Awareness Campaign
An awareness campaign for the Canadian non-profit lender: surfacing real stories of Chinese-speaking entrepreneurs it funded, contextualizing non-dilutive startup capital, and amplifying across WeChat and RedNote.
01 / Endorsement
“Lin’s ability to connect with the target audience was excellent and her story was focused and creative... I appreciated learning more about the Mandarin audience and how we can reach this target audience with our campaign!”
— Andrea Welling, Regional Director, Futurpreneur, British Columbia
02 / Excerpt
“20 年,13,400 个年轻创业者,这背后的推手是谁?”
“在维多利亚创立康普茶品牌的 Tiffany、在异乡摸索启动资本的年轻华人……好的非营利扶持不仅是一笔启动资金,更是在推开创业大门时,站在你身旁的专业智囊与导师。”
“跨越语言与文化的隔阂,让深埋在行政文本里的公共扶持资源,真正流向每一个在异国土壤里认真破土的年轻梦想。”
03 / Impact & Cross-Cultural Reach
While Futurpreneur has backed young Canadian founders for over two decades, its programs remained largely obscure to first-generation Mandarin-speaking entrepreneurs navigating steep cultural and administrative learning curves. Standard institutional translations frequently failed to communicate the non-predatory, mentorship-driven nature of non-profit capital.
By replacing bureaucratic announcements with grounded investigative profiles—centering real immigrant founders who built successful local ventures—the campaign established immediate trust across WeChat and RedNote communities. It demystified eligibility criteria, mentor pairing, and loan structures, successfully opening an untapped community acquisition channel for the foundation.
